This is a re-take version of the previously filmed test drive video on the 2022 Tracker Redline, since that first test drive video was subjectively too short.

Impressions/observations during the test drive:
The exterior design of this car looks sporty because of the red accents that were used throughout. The black wheels with those red accents contribute to this sporty look as well (this is specific to the Redline variant). At the back, the "Tracker" badging is black-and-red themed, which looks very cool especially in that display unit which is painted in red. Moving over to the interior, the combination of hard and soft-touch materials is good enough for this price point. The placement of the central screen makes it difficult to be seen when an outside light source (such as the sun) hits it directly, though. This makes the screen, and especially the reverse camera feed less useable in such situations. When there is not much of this kind of outside light source though, the reverse camera is helpful and has good quality. It also has trajectory guidelines that follow the steering angle of the vehicle.
The engine of this car is powerful enough to carry its weight even though it is just a small 3-cylinder engine as it does not feel underpowered. The gearbox transferring the power from this engine to the front wheels is a 6-speed automatic transmission which is subjectively preferable over the CVT like in some of its competition including the Toyota Raize and the Chery Tiggo 2 Pro. In automatic mode, this transmission shifts smoothly enough both at slow and higher speeds. On the other hand, in manual mode the transmission's response time to inputs for up and down shifting is decent considering that this is not a DCT like in the Geely Coolray. The accelerator and brake pedals of the car respond well to the driver's inputs. Its brake pedal has some stiffness to it, but not too much. This actually gives the brake pedal more feel so that it is not too vague. Turning the car, one would feel that the steering has nice weight and feedback on it - the Raize is noticeably lighter, and hence has less feedback than this. Another vehicle in this class with a lighter steering is the Kia Stonic, although it's just a little bit sharper and more responsive than the Tracker. Its chassis provides stability and ride comfort that is on par with most of the competition.
