The streets and skies of Metacity await!

(Early access - still in development) Metacity Patrol is an open-world game aimed at casual play and exploration, but also with the opportunity to grind for XP to raise through the ranks and upgrade your kit.

Patrol the Upper City in your aircar, and descend down to the Lower Levels to explore on foot.

Adanna at Police HQ will radio in missions as they come in, or you can patrol the streets looking for criminal activity as it emerges.

Then, when off duty, spend your hard earned money on upgrades, property, entertainment, and the numerous treats available from vending consoles dotted around Metacity.

Extra content (Update 22 Sep 2023):

Purchasable property! - You can now use your in game credits to buy a property in the Residential Zone, and also an Upper City penthouse near the Theatre Sector. Both properties can be furnished, and used as save game locations. Keep an eye out for the 'For Sale' signs!

More Lower City locations added! - Backstreet locations added, these don't appear in your HUD, but can be discovered when exploring the Upper City where you see their landing beacons. You will also occasionally get sent on missions to these locations.


Gameplay updates:

Brightness boost option - If the games is a little too dark for you, give the brightness a boost! The option can be found on your aircar console.

Auto-reload - Returning to your aircar to reload is no longer required. You gun automatically reloads when out of ammo. Gun now has LED readout to display remaining ammo.

Virtual cockpit joysticks. As well as using the thumb sticks, you can now tilt the controllers to work as virtual joysticks to control aircar rotation and altitude when holding the grip button. Or use a combination of thumbstick and tilt controls, whichever works best for you.

Car locator - you can now add the location of your car to your HUD, no more losing your car in the Lower City! Option available on your aircar console, or by pressing 'X' when on foot (HUD must be active to see car location).

Smooth turning speed increased when on foot.

Sit/Crouch button added (right thumb stick) - Added button to allow you to sit in your newly purchased home!

Reset progress button added - You can now reset your game progress completely by pressing the reset button 3 time in Police HQ. This does not reset your game save data, unless you save your game after pressing this button!"
