Visualization Capabilities of the Microsoft Platform Part Two: Power Map

Part two of the three part ProHealth series covers Power Map, which lives inside Excel 2013 and runs against the Power Pivot data model that the Power View reports were running against in part one of the series: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1aZh0aT8Ask. Creating a Power Map visualization is fairly straightforward, essentially drag and drop functionality to build a series of scenes. Each scene represents a different view of the data, and those scenes are put together to create what is called a "tour." Part two shows a video output of this tour.

Please note: The virtualization demo has been built entirely with out-of-the-box technologies and no third party tools have been used. Videos have been created on a de-identified set of patient data from the Epic Cogito data warehouse platform. Because a test instance of data was used, some data points may be skewed and do not represent accurate numbers.
