This vintage beauty is an excellent trombone modelled after the legendary King 3B by the Henri Selmer company in Paris, France. It features beautiful engraving throughout the instrument and a closed-wrap F attachment with an unusual but very ergonomic and elegant trigger design for its time. This horn is an excellent choice for jazz bands, studio or commercial work, salsa or mariachi, brass bands, or metal, rock, or ska instrumental groups. I believe this example was from around 1949, as the serial number was, as far as I recall, in the 6900 range. I played this awesome instrument between June and December of 2021, and I was certainly sad to see this horn go, but don't worry, I've got more exciting trombones to show you in the near future!
