It has a sort of attraction to all pianists and it is understandable. It is just a perfect piano piece. It’s just a line, unison line, going up, both hands playing the same thing, not really a melody, nothing and little by little you get to some chords and suddenly a door opens and you have this unbelievably beautiful melody and it’s really memorable." - Leif Ove Andsnes
