Minimum requirements: Android 8.0 or higher.

Download “Signia App” from Google Play Store (if applicable).
Open the Signia app.

If this is not the first time you are connecting hearing aids to the app, you will have to select the three lines in the top left portion of the screen, select “Settings”, “App Settings”, “Set up the app”, then “Ok”. Otherwise, skip this step.

On the “Connect hearing aids” screen, scroll down and select “Manual”

When prompted, “Is your hearing aid a Run model?”, select “No”

When prompted, “Prepare the connection”, turn hearing aids off and on to initiate pairing mode, which lasts for 3 minutes. Place hearing aids in your ears. Click “Connect Now”.

Note: This app uses your phone's speaker. At any time the app may prompt you to increase or decrease the phone volume using the provided slider control.

On “Confirmation tone”, click either “Yes” or “No” if you heard a brief tone in each hearing aid. If you did not hear the confirmation tone, turn the hearing aids off and on again before proceeding.

When prompted with, “Do your hearing aids support Directional hearing?”, select “Yes” or “No” depending on your hearing aid (ask practitioner).

When prompted with, “Do you know the number of hearing programs?”, select the proper number (ask practitioner) or select “I don’t know” to proceed.

When prompted with, “Is it a tinnitus program?”, select “Yes” if you have a program specifically setup for tinnitus management (ask practitioner). Otherwise, select “No”.

When prompted with, “Connection successful”, select “Let’s Go!”.

Verify that the volume control is working. You should hear an audible signal or a change of volume in both hearing aids. If unsuccessful, repeat all steps or contact your hearing clinic.
