Devil is the final boss for everyone besides himself in the game. He is an unlockable playable character in it.

===== ABOUT DEVIL =====
In Tekken 1, a young Kazuya was thrown down a mountain ravine by his father Heihachi. He was then approached by a powerful entity known as the Devil, and this entity offered Kazuya the power and opportunity to get revenge on and overthrow his father, in exchange for his soul. Kazuya accepted the offer. Therefore, the Devil entity was created within Kazuya, which has manifested itself into a half-human, half-devil form.

Gameplay-wise, he is basically just a slightly different version of Kazuya... the biggest difference is obviously his two laser moves which are unique to him. He has most of Kazuya's moves and doesn't seem to have any other unique moves (besides the lasers) of his own.

===== ADDITIONAL INFORMATION =====

---- His Stage 8 personal boss is Heihachi; his Stage 9 boss is Jun Kazama; and his final boss is Angel.

---- His alternative costume is Angel.

---- In the PS1 version of the game, he has his own voice, which is an "alien'ish" version of Kazuya's voice.

---- In the PS1 version of the game, he (and Angel) has his own BGM music theme.

---- In the Arcade version of the game, his second costume Angel is still named as Devil.

===== ABOUT PS1 TEKKEN 2 =====
This is one of the best fighting games on the PS1, and it is better than the arcade version due to it being graphically identical (standard-wise) and featuring tons more features, including an Arranged soundtrack. The game is based on Version B of the arcade game, with the initial difference of all the sub-bosses and bosses needing to be unlocked. If you are of the PS1/Saturn/PS2/Dreamcast/etc. eras, you'll know that unlocking characters in fighting games are part of the fun.
