Extract the OVA file: tar -xvf yourfile.ova
Import the VirtualBox Disk: qm importdisk your_vmid filename.vmdk your_storage_name -format qcow2

Virt Manager

Turn off Preallocation: sudo qemu-img convert -f qcow2 -O qcow2 -o preallocation=off current_file.qcow2 new_file.qcow2
Import the Virt Manager Disk: qm importdisk vmid filename.qcow2 storage_name
