The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat was first introduced in 2015 after a long over due refresh of the previous Challenger models. The Challenger SRT Hellcat features a 6.2L supercharged V8 that is attached to either an eight speed automatic, or a six speed manual transmission. Both are good for a 0-60 mph time of under four seconds. The biggest selling point for this model was its immense horsepower numbers and relatively small price tag of just over $60,000. The Challenger SRT Hellcat was sold as a 2 door coupe that was capable of achieving a top speed of 204 mph. In this video we tested a manual transmission Hellcat, that from the factory is capable of an 11.2 second 1/4 Mile time.

After performing multiple straight line aerodynamic tests we found that the Hellcat was more than capable of hitting a big mph in 2.3 mies. As you can see in this video, testing conditions were ideal for a true top speed test but due to a strong head wind the Hellcat tested just under 200 mph. The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is a tremendous car that lacks aerodynamic efficiency, but more than makes up for it in horsepower and torque.
