This epic action, adventure and love story set during the Spanish Civil war tells the story of two childhood friends, Manolo Torres (Wes Bentley) and Josemaria Escriva (Charlie Cox) separated by the political chaos of the pre-war era. "The film deals with friendship, love and forgiveness. It will not leave you indifferent," director Roland Joffe comments.
