Hyundai Kona Electric OBDII device install / test. No App or configuration needed

I've been interested in the data you can obtain via the OBD port for some time but because of inaccuracies of early versions and complex installation procedures I've refrained from spend the few pounds needed to buy an OBDII dongle and an App like Torque Pro.

One of the challenges, is which app is best for EVs and my Kona specifically because, although the data is standard to some degree it's obviously different as each EV has different capabilities and different data sets.

I recently saw this device bring reviewed on YouTube in Canada, where it's been developed and after a brief discussion with Jean-Pierre , I agreed to test the device.
I don't test products very often but if they appeal to me I'm happy to share the experience with other like minded owners of Hyundai and Kia EVs.

Note :
Not compatible with older models of Ioniq/eSoul

Being a fixed hardware device, updates with more data that might become available later won't be available on this device. Apps are more updateable.
Apps though are generic for all cars and all EVs whereas this device is bespoke for Hyundai and Kia EVs and keeps your phone free for other purposes.

I can honestly say it was easier to install than expected and dies exactly what I expected. I'll confess most of the data is if little use to me but the key items if battery temp and SOC are very much of interest.

In colder climates where Power and Regen may be limited, especially when using Winter Mode, I could imagine the Regen and power data being very informative also at least confirming why performance is restricted.

Although I've installed and configured Torque Pro I haven't used it yet and hence can't give my opinion on how the App compares beyond saying installation is 5 mins Vs a few hours.
