Undertale OST - Main theme [Piano]

This is really a surprise upload, even for me.

First off, let me just say that Undertale is an amazing game, a true masterpiece. And when it came out in 2015, in no time flat, everyone and their cousin had their own covers of its amazing soundtracks. My favorite personally remains the main theme - it evokes such a powerful sense of nostalgia and well, I’m a sucker for build-up songs and that is exactly what the theme is, with one instrument after another adding on to a simple motif, giving it so much depth.

Anyway, I was listening to the theme yesterday for the first time in a while and I was suddenly possessed to make my own arrangement of it. So I began work on it and was able to finish it in record time.

About the arrangement, it’s inspired by both Theishter and Stoh’s. However, I really wanted to capture the song completely using the piano and hence, this one is more technically demanding and should not be attempted unless you have large hands (10th is a minimum) and very good hand dexterity. Alternatively this is a good 4 hands arrangement if you want to try it with a friend.
