Real ruins is a mod for Rimworld 1.0. With this mod you can upload your base online and start a new game and play with others players abandoned bases

Have you ever wondered who might be that person which will find a use for those ruins?
With this mod it might be you, or any other RimWorld player!

This mod periodically uploads your base snapshot to the server database, and when a new map is generated, this database provides pieces of those stored bases as templates for abandoned ruins. The core concept is not only making ruins from bases, but making ruins for you from other players' bases to deliver a completely different kind of content.
Perhaps you'll find just empty dirty shelter with badly damaged wooden bed and a pair of chairs. Perhaps you'll be lucky enough to find someone's silver vault before scavengers from the nearest settlement arrive.

Compatibility
This mod can be added anytime, it won't break your saves and will take effect when you enter into a new map, either starting a new game or with a caravan.
This mod is probably uncompatible with other ruins generation mods, but can be compatible with mods, altering other map generation steps besides ruins generation.

When does the app upload and download data? How much time does it take? How much traffic does it take?
The app uploads blueprint each time you save the game (but not more than once in three hours) or lose your colony. The server overwrites blueprint data for subsequent uploads, so you won't spam the database with the same blueprint even if you're playing with autosaves the whole day. Downloading happens automatically on application startup, and it downloads up to 50 blueprints at once. Uploading and downloading happens in background, so it doesn't add any waiting time. New blueprints are downloaded even if you reach storage limit, but in this case older blueprints are deleted, so you can always have something new. If you think you have enought blueprints in your cache you can disable downloading in settings. Each blueprint takes from 5 to 500 kilobytes, about 100-200kb in average. Default cache size limit is 256mb.
