Code Vein - 32:9 Showcase | Ultrawide Fix

Code Vein doesn't support ultrawide by default, but it's fairly easy to fix.
There are some issues with this fix though, cutscenes may have quite high field of view values at times because of how they designed the camera to animate during the different scenes. Blood screen and general screen overlay effects are 16:9.

You can choose to download the .exe files I've modified myself for 21:9 and 32:9, but if you'd rather not download an exe file from a stranger on the internet, you can follow the instructions on how to do it further down in the description.

You'll need a hex editing application such as HxD to do this.
CTRL+F to search in HxD, make sure it's in the hex tab and not the string tab.

For 21:9 users:
Open the original CodeVein-Win64-Shipping.exe in a hex editor.
Search for F6 41 2C 01 4C, and replace with F6 41 2C 00 4C to remove pillarboxes.
Search for 35 FA 0E 3C A4, and replace with 35 FA 3E 3C A4 for 21:9. CTRL+S and you're done!

For 32:9 users:
Open the original CodeVein-Win64-Shipping.exe in a hex editor.
Search for F6 41 2C 01 4C, and replace with F6 41 2C 00 4C to remove pillarboxes.
Replace 35 FA 0E 3C A4 with EF D4 83 3C A4 for 32:9 or greater.
Search for 39 8E E3 3F, and replace with 39 8E 63 40 to change the FOV for 32:9. (Things will be zoomed in if you don't do this step)
CTRL+S and you're done!
