How to Crochet ☆ APPA ☆ from Avatar the Last Airbender

Who can resist a cute fluffy animal who can fly?
Appa is such a great character in Avatar the Last Airbender, and I had so much fun using Keily Montesino's pattern from Ravelry.com (check out her pattern here: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/appa-2)
Unfortunately for me...the pattern is in Spanish! So I brought you guys along for the ride while I figured out (and made up some parts of) this pattern!
I love crocheting amigurumi, especially when it's a character as fun as Appa :)
