Fanny Hansel-Mendelssohn (1809-1847)

Fanny Hansel is the sister of Felix Mendelssohn.
At that time, it was not the time when women could play an active role as a musician, but Fanny had considerable talent as a musician, not only as a pianist but also as a composer, and was a reliable presence for his younger brother Felix.

This is a song by Fanny to the poem "Die Ersehnte" by the German poet Ludwig Christoph Heinrich Hölty(1748-1776).

ファニー・ヘンゼル=メンデルスゾーン(1809-1847)

ファニー・ヘンゼルは、一般によく知られているフェリックス・メンデルスゾーンのお姉様です。
当時は女性が音楽家として活躍できる時代ではなかったのですが、ファニーはピアニストのみならず作曲や指揮など音楽家としてかなりの才能の持ち主で、弟のフェリックスにとっても頼りになる存在でした。

この曲はドイツの詩人ヘルティ(1748-1776)の詩『恋しい女(DieErsehnte)』にファニーが曲を付けた歌曲作品ですが、バイオリンとピアノで演奏してみましたのでどうぞお楽しみください。
