I was surprised this game even runs on a modern computer. Age of Empires III was released in 2005, and it was designed to run on Windows XP. I bought this game in 2006, and it ran on my Pentium 4 3.0 HT computer, Geforce 6800 GT with 1 gb of ram. It ran pretty well on my Pentium 4 3.0 HT system. However on this computer, it never slows down even if you play with 8 players. It adds an entirely new experience for this game, and the graphics for this game is still good for a 12 year old game.
