Consider this as the 1st part of my journey into the world of "WARFRAME". The Solo part is seamlessly integrated so y can "practice" at your leisure, but eventually you will want join the CO-OP experience because that offers just so much more.

WARFRAME GUIDE: FOREPLAY

-WHICH WARFRAME TO CHOOSE?
You installed the game.
Made the mandatory account an verified it by email.
Played through the tutorial.
And now you are presented with a Choice which Warframe to equip.
Each Warframe has different abilities and "kinda" forces you to play a certain style.

Now the description is spot on:
Advanced users who want to compliment team members and become part of a unstoppable synergy, might want to go for a Loki or a Mag Warframe.

But for SP noobs (like me) I recommend going with Excalibur.
Its "slash & dash" ability can get you out of trouble in a jiffy,
and can be also used offensively,
at a reasonable low cost of "power" and mod-slots.

Also, if you grind long enough,
you can unlock other Warframes BLUEPRINTS and build them later on.

PAY ATTENTION!
You cannot reset your account to choose another warframe from the start.
So if you have chosen Excalibur, but are really hung up on using the stealth ability of Loki ASAP! You could opt for making another account,
which you need to verify with another email address!!!

-A GRIND ORGIE?
Due realize this is a GRIND-fest,
Or actually, a GRIND-ORGIE!
That means you will be doing a lot of stuff over and over again.
For some of you that might be a problem,
but I love the grinding part because of the freeform combat.
But pay attention:
The SP / SOLO part will become incredible HARD!
You need to prepare / grind yourself quit a few levels over the enemy ones,
before you can battle them on your own!

-MONEY?
Although the game is free,
if you die too much, it can cost you REAL in-game currency!
You get 4 in-game revives / lives, every 24 hours!
If you lose them, you'll get a notice that you can buy extra revives with your PLANTINUM Credits!
DON'T DO THAT!
Save the 50 platinum credits you got at the start of this game for other purchases...
(Like more inventory slots, Orikon catalyst & reactors)

I personally love this quit severe penalty for dying.
Also the fact that you lose all the loot if you Forfeit / Quit,
adds an incredible amount of suspense to this Warframe experience.

-PERFORMANCE?
This ain't "Planet side 2"!
"Warframe" scales very well on ancient rigs and even used to run on WIN XP!
The developers have given us options to turn off the real frame-rate killers in this one.
Thank you...
A personal note; I don't like the color correction one bit!
Disabling gave my experience a bit more "life".

WARFRAME QUICK-START GUIDE:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

-PLAY ALERT, OPERATIONS & VOID MISSIONS!
Alert & Operations are temporary missions that pop up in the universe,
and they offer great rewards!
VOID Missions come later on.
You can undertake these once you have leveled up yr gear.
If you think you are ready for these "ultimate" missions,
make sure you find yourself a co-op crew,
and come prepared to the VOID!

-Buy a Codex Scanner (500 credits, NOT PLATINUM):
Scan (for) enemies (for) XP and EXTRACT Goodies etc.!

-Get your ass to Earth as soon as possible:
The planet Earth functions as a crossroad with easy access
to most resources in the game.
Once you pass Everest, you can start producing your own weapons.

-If you rely on your MELEE COMBAT make sure to upgrade to a weapon that can HIT MULTIPLE ENEMIES in one swing!
The default Skana can only hit one target per swing!

-Log in everyday for BIG, FAT rewards!
You don't have to play, just log in once!

-Go hunting for Aura Cards.
These cards offer great buffs, but also increase the number of mod slots for your Warframe!

-Find out what Golden and Blue potato's are and start SUPERCHARGING your weapons and your Warframe!

Just try it out.
The game has a "decent" tutorial hidden away in the codex.
Look for "Training".
