Lunch with historian S.I.Martin

We had the pleasure of hosting historian and novelist S. I. Martin for lunch, where he gave us a brief presentation on life as a person of color in the 18th century. Martin's novel Incomparable world loosely inspired our spring production Quamino's Map.

Martin is an expert in Black British history and literature. He collaborates with museums, archives, and academic institutions to present diversified histories to a broader audience. He is the author of five novels for adult and youth audiences, covering historical fiction and nonfiction.
