Complete Guide: How to install Mac OS X 10.8 mountain lion in VMware on PC

This is a complete guide on installing Mac OS X 10.8 mountain lion (this method probably can work with 10.9 mavericks also, but I didn't test it) in VWware Workstation for window. I am not sure if VMware Player works, probably it does work. You need a dvd or dmg or iso file. Pure Mac OS is usually in a dmg file.

Download latest VMware Workstation 10 or VMware Player - (this one is free but workstation is tested working);

Here are the files you will require:

1) dmg2img - http://vu1tur.eu.org/tools/ (download dmg2img and not dmg2iso);

2) vmware unlocker 1.2 - http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/20-vmware-unlocker-for-os-x/ (you need to create a account on insanelymac, it is free);

3) Latest VMware tools from fusion - http://softwareupdate.vmware.com/cds/vmw-desktop/fusion/6.0.2/1398658/packages/com.vmware.fusion.tools.darwin.zip.tar

4) Mac OS X 10.8 Installation disk or .dmg disk image (You are own your own for this one but it is easy to get, just search for it on google or use torrent sites );
