Today we're going to talk about the WPF Platform and the DispatcherTimer.

Most of us have used System.Windows.Forms platform (Windows Forms Platform) with ugly user interfaces, poor extensibility and especially Fake Opacity :( . Then became the System.Windows (WPF) Platform which is way better and solved 99% of the problems that we had with Windows Forms.

But how we can create Timers in WPF Applications? So this video shows you how to create a timer in WPF Applications and use it in good use.

So we're going to use the System.Windows.Threading.DispatcherTimer which is a multithreaded timer topology built in to the .NET Framework.
