Even though most PS4 models come with a generous hard drive, it can be easy to fill up your device over time. A simple way to free up space on your PlayStation 4 is to delete games you no longer play. And don't panic, if you decide you want to revisit any games you delete at a later date, you can always reinstall them.

Now let's walk through the steps to delete games from your PS4 library.

Step 1. Navigate to your PlayStation 4 home screen, and then select "Library" on the home screen. Your PS4 Library screen is displayed.

Step 2. Select "Games" in the menu on the left side of the screen. All of the games in your PlayStation 4 library appear on the right side of your screen.

Step 3. Select the installed PS4 game you want to delete, and then press the "Options" button on your PS4 controller. A menu appears on the right side of the screen.

Step 4. Choose "Delete" in this menu. A Delete screen appears, asking if you want to move forward with deleting this game from your PlayStation 4. Choose "OK." You'll be returned to your PS4 Library screen, where you'll see the game is no longer displayed, indicating it has been successfully deleted from your PS4.
