Mr. Hornfischer is a noted literary agent as well as the author of many works about the U.S. Navy in the Pacific including "Last Stand of the Tin Can Sailors," "Neptune's Inferno," and "The Fleet at Flood Tide." Mr. Hornfischer has won numerous awards for his work, including most recently, the Samuel E. Morrison Award given by the USS Constitution museum.
