What on earth is a full stack designer? Maybe you have heard the term full-stack developer, but what is a stack and how does it apply to designers?

Turns out there is such a thing as a full stack designer and it turns out I am one of them. It's really just a term that represents a multi-faceted designer with experience in a breadth of disciplines.

The benefit to a Full Stack Designer is that they can look at a project more holistically because they are thinking about the project from end to end.

This does not mean that they do every single aspect of a project from logo to databases, but it does mean that they have a broad spectrum that they work in.

Full Stack Designers are in demand right now for teams, projects and clients that need people to wear multiple hats, true there are a lot of opportunities to work in a more siloed scenario, but if you like change, challenges and pancakes than this style of work might be for you ?
