The Iron Chests mod (by ProgWML6) adds different chests to Minecraft with additional, increasing storage capacities. Beginning with a vanilla Minecraft chest, you can upgrade from Copper, to Iron, Silver, Gold, and Diamond chests. You will only need a simple crafting table to make any of the chests or their upgrades. Note that many chests require the previous tier chest in order to be upgraded.

To get started in this mod, you will need to go mining. Collect copper or iron, silver, gold and diamonds. You will need glass and obsidian in order to make the crystal and obsidian variants of the diamond-capacity chest. The crystal chest lets you see the contents of the chest; while the obsidian variant is blast-resistant. Chests can be broken with any pick axe. Items do NOT remain in the chests when broken.

Chests interact well with other mods, all sides are interactive, and you should experience no difficulties attaching them to machine blocks with direct export capabilities, or cables and ducts from other mods. Chests can also be used as external storage for mods like refined storage, simple storage, and applied energistics.

The Iron Chests mod is available for Minecraft Java Edition version 1.12, 1.14, 1.15 and is currently under development for 1.16. Note that the Iron Chests mod requires the relevant version of Minecraft Forge in order to work. You can find more information on the Iron Chests mod Curseforge page linked below.
