Carl Allen has long been used to saying no to every offer: he avoids friends, skips meetings, works without joy, and gradually turns his own life into a sequence of identical days closed off from the world. After a chance encounter, he ends up at a motivational seminar, where he accepts a strange commitment — to say “yes” to everything fate offers him. At first, the new rule seems like a mad adventure, but it is precisely this that draws Carl into unexpected meetings, risky decisions, career changes, and a romance with the free-spirited Allison, who lives as if every day could become an adventure. Yet unconditional agreement quickly reveals its other side: real change requires not blind obedience to a rule, but an honest choice. This romantic comedy starring Jim Carrey combines eccentric humor, a warm story of inner awakening, and light satire on the cult of positive thinking.
