Operations Manager, a component of System Center, enables you to monitor services, devices, and operations for many computers in a single console. Operators can gain rapid insight into the state of the IT environment and the IT services running across different systems and workloads by receiving alerts and using numerous views providing insight into health, security, performance, or configuration issues affecting the health of the service.

In this video I’ll show step by step installation and configuration of System Center Operations Manager including its requirements, so lets go

1. Download SCOM all bin and exe files

2. Run the SCOM 2022.exe to create a VHD file

3. Attach SCOM VHD file to storage system of win2022s3 server
This will create and F drive

4. From F-Drive set Renounce as shared directory and assign Administrator Full control.

5. Run Setup and Install Management Server to Win2022s3 where MS SQL Server and MECM are also installed

Note: SCOM Management Server will not install on other windows servers. Only on servers with MS SQL server

That warning Indicates it’s an Evaluation Software



6. Install Operations Console on Win2022s2

Note: Installing all 4 Features on one server, Win2022s3, with SQL server will not work.


7. Install Web Console and Reporting Server on Win2022s3,
where Management Server and SQL are also installed.
