In this video, you will learn how to find duplicate values in Excel. You will also learn how to remove duplicate values in one easy step.
Let me open an Excel file that I have created for the demo. This particular worksheet has the column "Names" with some random values. To find out the duplicate values, select the data range with the duplicate values, Click "Conditional Formatting" ~ "Highlight Cell Rules" ~ "Duplicate Values" and as you can see, the duplicate values are marked in Red.
To quickly remove the duplicte values, select the data range, click the "Data" tab and click the "Remove Duplicates" button. Expand the selection if you have multiple columns, select the Column that contains the duplicate values and click "Ok".
As you can see, the Duplicate values have been removed, and you are left only with unique values.
