I just spent almost 2 weeks with German band ANNISOKAY as their Tour Manager (it's that guy who always wakes band members up, helps them pack up, check in at the airport, helps around on tour and stuff, but this time it was pretty easy because all the guys turned out to be super cool and responsible). Together we went to 8 cities in Russia and one in Belarus. What really surprised me is how easily the guys spoke English, so I couldn't miss this chance of asking them where and how they'd learned it so well. You could be their fan or may not even know them - it doesn't matter. Just listen to what they say and try to use the same tricks. And I'm sure everything works out for you, too! Learn English and go see the world :)
P.S. If only all Russian musicians were this polite, punctual, easygoing, responsible and kind, the Russian music scene would be such a better place! I already miss you, dudes!
