The first resource pack on our list is Dokucraft. This is a more Medieval looking texture pack that has 3 different variants - Light, High, and Dark. Light has brighter colors overall making this brighter and more colorful. Dark has darker colors overall making things look grungier and more true to real Medieval times, and the ‘high’ version of Dokucraft is right in the middle mixing some of the brightness from Light with some of the darker textures in the Dark version.

Coming in second here, we have Sphax PureBDCraft. This is more of a cartoony texture pack with a ton of different versions for all kinds of different computers ranging from 16x to 512x. Thus, no matter what kind of computer you have, you'll be able to run Sphax. Again, this is a more cartoony texture pack, but I think that look makes Minecraft more fun, and the brighter colors make everything very happy feeling!

Next up, we have Jolicraft. Jolicraft changes every texture of Minecraft. From the menus to the blocks, it touches everything, and it adds a flatter look to Minecraft while making it super bight, fun, and colorful. This is the best bright texture pack on our list that isn't very cartoony or medieval. It really is a unique texture pack. There isn't anything like it!

Fourth on the list is Faithful x32. Faithful is a texture pack I have used for a very long time. It takes Minecraft’s default textures and improves them with the goal of not completely changing the feel of default Minecraft. This isn't a 1.14.4 resource pack natively, but it does work perfectly in 1.14.

Last up on this list is John Smith Legacy. A Medieval texture pack at it’s best, John Smith Legacy is so Medieval it is actually the one that I use on our Medieval survival server on BreakdownCraft. One of my favorite parts is that it doesn’t look dark and gritty but it still does look Medieval. It feels like they took Minecraft's colors and made them Medieval. Something I can really appreciate.
