No Purchase Necessary! You DO need a Wireless AC/AX router at a minimum. Some people report poor connection due to lower data transfer rate, your mileage may vary. I used a Wireless 6 router, not a Wireless 6e router as is mentioned everywhere. Wireless 6e is preferred. Connected on a 5GHz Wifi.

One Thing I Forgot To Mention: Once you pair your headset, you go in the headset and there will be a "Launch Air Link" that you can start the PC connection and screen streaming.
