Fix error "Primary Update Failed" on Shure ULXD4Q + Update firmware Receiver and Transmitter

In this video I will show you how to fix the problem with the error message "Primary Update Failed" when upgrading firmware on the Shure ULX-D receivers.

I did this on the Shure ULXD4Q 606-670 Mhz. I don´t know if it´s a general problem or if it´s only when upgrading from 1.2.14 to 2.1.16.

I will NOT show you how to actually upload the firmware to the receivers. Why? Because it is way to simple :) Look att the link further down for information about the upload from Shure themselves.

Further more I will show you some tips on how to upgrade the firmware to the transmitters.

My network setup:
1. Connect PC/MAC to the Receiver through a NetworkSwitch (or direct if you only upgrading one unit).
2. Set IP adress to static on PC/MAC. Set IP to: 192.168.1.100, subnet mask: 255.255.0.0.
3. Set IP adress to static on Receiver, under DEVICE ULTILITES - NETWORK - SHURE CONTROL. Set IP to: 192.168.1.101, subnet mask: 255.255.0.0.
ALWAYS put the last digits in the IP-adress as a individual number per receiver.

Or you can use a Router with DHCP to automatically assign IP-adresses. Switch your PC/MAC and Receivers to Automatic.
