INGSOC is the main antagonistic faction in George Orwell's 1949 book Nineteen Eighty-Four as well as the 1984 film of the same name. It is the sole political party of Oceania, a totalitarian super-state. They seek to control and oppress the people of Oceania and enforce and support the rule of Big Brother.
