What's good everyone?? I've been a little upset with the gamecast/recording feature on my shield dropping my vocal commentary when I record games. Sorry for the unenthusiastic tone here. I was thinking it wasn't going to work again, but this time it actually did. It was a little different though as it recorded to the internal shield storage, and I started the gamecast recording while I was in the game and not on the menu. Not sure if that made a difference but something tells me it might. I'm wondering if it ain't the hard drive I'm using but I'm not sure as it seems to work fine for everything else. Maybe it was starting in game other then on the home screen menu. You'll def be getting more from me and I might even do another one of these tonight and start it the same way to see if that works things out. I did do a save state earlier at the exact same spot so if this works maybe I'll try it again to see if it will work one more time. I'm hope certain things I do here will fix it. I posted a pretty long post on the Nvidia Forums https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/1032231/shield-tv/game-recording-audio-dropping-out-leanback-launcher-gamecast-issue/, but it doesn't look like anyone is going to get back to me. I'll do another one here in a few. Continue from the save point, start the game cast in the game instead of the menu and see if it works again. Here's video 2 and 3 below
