RearView Mirror Upgrade on F60 MINI Cooper CountryMan using an F30 mirror.

Описание

The BMW F30 mirror i used is part#51169345387 and it has built in Compass/Auto-Dip & Home Link Garage Opener.
My original F60 mirror is manual with no features and Part # 51169285371.
I removed the holding cradle from the F60 mirror and screwed it into the similar bay meant on the F30 mirror.

Your new F30 mirror may come with any number of pins but the Pin#3 is Power & Pin#6 is Signal/LIN BUS & Pin#10 is Ground.

The hole under the F30 mirror can be used to shuffle/cycled between the options line Compass ON/Off & Compass Language & Compass Zone etc based on how long you hold the button pressed.The F30 drivers module will have instructions on this.

I used a connector stub titled "BMW E65 E66 745i Rear View Mirror Connector 6909000" purchased on eBay.

I drew information for this project from similar project done on the F30 mirror and online forums.I published detail concerning this project on a FaceBook group called "MINI COUNTRYMAN OWNERS".
