The Razor: Vintage 1950’s Kinfolks Blue Steel Special. 5/8 hollow ground, spike point.

The Soap/Aftershave: Barrister and Mann Sunny Lane. This is a Limited Edition spring release in the latest Excelsior soap base. Slickness, protection, and post shave are all superlative for this soap. The scent strength on Sunny Lane is a 7/10. The scent is more complex than the typical citrus freshy. Its a bright citrusy green scent that is reminiscent of a traditional men’s cologne. The matching Deltus alcohol splash has excellent properties that leave the skin feeling silky and smooth. With notes of vetiver, bergamot, clover and oakmoss, the scent is dense, green, bright, and very long lasting.

The Brush: Heritage Collection Merit Gelled Boar. This brushmaker is specializing in resurrecting hard to find vintage brush designs and bringing them to the people. Neil’s passion for vintage brushes comes through in his Heritage Collection. He also treats the natural hair knots with a gelling process, ensuring a soft, plush feel. The gelled boar knot used here feels softer than any other boar, with zero scritch, and 100% ready to use out of the box. As an added bonus, the knots have been shampooed and conditioned prior to sending out, removing the initial funk typical with animal hair brushes.
