Arcadian Atlas - Part 1: Tutorial & Chapter 1 Intro

One of the games I kickstarted awhile ago has finally launched, and we are going to hop in and see how it has developed. Here we have a fantasy tactical game like many that came before it, but it is a little more forgiving than its peers, which can perhaps make this a very good starter SRPG to try to ease people into the style.

One of the quirks to this game is that there are no random battles or means to level your characters beyond Contracts that are given out periodically. We will do these as they unlock as they are necessary for some secrets, and I will go into detail when we get there.

As for the plot, a country is being thrown into civil war as their King lies on his death bed. The current Queen is fighting with the Princesses over who gets to rule after him. In this part, we escort the younger princess to a monastery for protection while the older one begins sharpening her claws to try to deal with the Queen...

In this video, I only have the starter characters, and I'm wondering if it may be a good idea for me to swap out the Fire Mage for a Thunder Mage as it seems like the Stun status is a lot more effective than the little DoT the Fire one has. Other than that, I am pretty satisfied with the initial party, and will be picking up one story addition in the next video.
