In this video we are taking a look at one of the cheapest B550 Motherboards, AsRocks Phantom Gaming 4 B550. This is AsRocks cheapest offer in the B550 realm, coming in at just 114.99 USD. We put this board up against three other midtier boards; AsRocks much bigger brother the Extreme 4, MSI’s Gaming Edge Wifi, and Gigabytes B550 Aorus Pro. We put the board through extensive testing with the AMD Ryzen 5 3600x and one of the company's flagship CPU’s the Ryzen 9 3900x. We tested this in a wide variety of suites. We used 3D Benchmark stress testing that runs countless component stress tests that affect the motherboards VRM and Chipset. The board was also tested using a 1 hour blender workload, a very taxing 3d animation software. Finally we used one of the most intensive tests, Cinebench R20, that always puts the hardware to work. We rounded out our testing with in game benchmarks, to see how the board would perform for gaming or very light workstation tasks.
