Today[4.27.12] I lost a family member. God decided that it was her time to go. This horse means the world to me. Our relationship wasn't perfect, but I wouldn't have traded it for the world. Velvet was a one-of-a-kind and you couldn't find another horse like her. Loosing her was one of the hardest days of my life, but at the end of the day I take a step back and realize that it was for her and not me. Shes up in heaven resting in paradise with my prince. And I know thats what hes been waiting for. I remember looking into your eyes today and seeing my reflection, i've never had a horse look at me like that. You tried so hard, but you lost this battle. Explaining how I feel right now is impossible. But i know that your no longer suffering. I love you baby. Say hi to Sonny for me. Rest in peace.
