Footage recorded by a minicam attached to the cox's headband. The Fari Cup is a head race over a distance of 7,5 km roughly north to south through centre of the city of Hamburg, Germany on the first full weekend of november and traditionally marks the end of the regional racing season. In 2009 110 boats with about 700 rowers attended including rowing legends like the old rivals 'Peter-Michael Kolbe' and 'Thomas Lange'. Footage is from the last race of the day - the Mixed Eight Masters raced in a Gig-class boat.
