Nmap: Setup and Introduction

Today we go over how we will be using nmap in the next videos in the series and some basics of scanning. We go over how to specify a single target by using either its IP address or its URL. Also, we review how to specify a range of targets by either a CIDR notation, using dashes to specify more exact targets, and how to input a file with targets to scan. Random targets can also be chosen using the -iR option, but this can be a dangerous choice.
