According to Wikipedia, "Caballo Viejo" is a Venezuelan folk song with lyrics & music by Simón Díaz, The Gypsy Kings have popular version called Bambaleo. Wikipedia also says "Traditional folk music has been defined in several ways: as music transmitted by mouth, as music of the lower classes, and as music with unknown composers. According to the sheet music, the words and music are by Tonino Baliardo, Nicolas Reyes, Jahoul Bouchikhi and Simón Díaz. Regardless of who wrote it, it's a great song. My favorite version is sung by Julio Iglasis.
