Highway to Hell is a short solo that gives a great example of angus’s amazing ability to seamlessly blend the major and minor pentatonic scales.

I have broken the solo into 3 phrases, each starting with a potentially tricky bend. Use fingers 1 and 2 for support fingers when possible.

Bend 1 (phrase 1), In the opening bar lift your bending finger before moving to fret 5, otherwise it can blend together and sound out of tune and messy.

Bend 2 (phrase 2), make sure you are flattening your 3rd finger to execute this one. Using two fingers never works as the tuning comes out wrong.

Bend 3 (phrase 3), keep your thumb low so that your 4th finger can stretch out to fret 5.
