Software loading on demand ... WARNING: System has limited functionality (Peugeot)

I went on holiday and booked my 71 Plate Peugeot e2008 into valet parking at Edinburgh Airport.

When I came back, the infotainment screen as a Blue screen with the message "Software loading on demand ... WARNING: System has limited functionality"

I have NO IDEA why that now appeared after having the car for just over 1 year.

I called Peugeot Customer Support to ask. They had no idea and referred me to my dealer as they are in fact the 1st point of technical support. Hmmm.

I visited the Peugeot Dealership and they were going to try the software update but said it takes hours to download the s/w, burn it to pen drive and install, so told me to come back on Monday.

Being a techy guy and the impatient type I decided to investigate how to rectify this problem and after a whole evening in front of my trusty Windows PC and sitting in the driver's seat of the car, I was successful! YEAH!

The VT takes you along the steps required to get your radio/heater/sensors/camera all working again!
