Owon XDM1041 Digital Bench-Top Multimeter REVIEW

Worth around $292 AUD (inc GST) from Oritech, a patron, DanishDart, sent me this as a gift. So, in this video, I test it out. It is a decent meter, however, I'm a little disappointed with the fact it doesn't meausure capacitance below 1000pF, or above 1uF (see text below in specifications). The frequency counter function is useful if you don't have an oscilliscope handy to quickly test what frequency something is. Thank you, DanishDart!

Measurement Specifications:
- Resistance: 0.01 ohm - 50 mega ohms
- Continuity: 0.1 ohm - 1000 ohms
- Diode: 0.0001V - 3V
- Capacitance: 50nF - 500uF (5mF - 50mF) (1000V over protection) [Apparently it can measure electrolytics, so I'm doing something wrong]
- Frequency: 10Hz - 60MHz (750V over protection) [Impressive range]
- True RMS AC current: 5A - 10A (5uA - 500mA)
- DC current: 500uA - 10A (respective of probe input selection)
- True RMS AC voltage: 500mV – 750V
- DC voltage: 0.001mV - 1000V
