Muzishare X7 Must do Mod!: Replacing the Cathode Resistors

This video covers what I consider a must do mod: replacing the massively oversize cathode resistors. These should not be 5 watt rated resistors, they should be at most a 1W, so they will act like a fuse if the output tubes ever fail/redplate. This mod protects the amp from unrepairable damage in case this happens!

Here we go with another popular made in China KT88 Push Pull Vacuum Tube Amplifier. This one was sent in for repairs of the biasing/meter circuit and a full review + mods just like we did on the Wilsenton R8.
