I much prefer the livelier MOD tracks of the original Deus Ex over its sequel Invisible War but one thing they did right was the menu theme. They basically took the existing Deus Ex theme and made it darker along with vocal samples that gives the original theme a run for its money.

The sequel to Deus Ex was released 3 years later and unlike the original was developed for console (the Xbox) as well as PC. Consequently the game's environments were designed with the console's limitations in mind and this wasn't viewed favourably especially by PC players. Ion Storm would close in 2005 and there wouldn't be another Deus Ex title until 2011 when a prequel called Deus Ex: Human Revolution was released (developed by Eidos Montreal and published by Square Enix).
