The news today is dominated by the events unfolding in the Middle East. Although many people believe that the conflicts in the region have existed for centuries, they are more recent and are largely political.

This Great Decisions program will provide historical background to the geopolitics of the region as well as offer some insights and address audience questions on the current state of affairs.
