Unsuccessfully, at expand disk group on IBM M5015 - 142

The IBM ServeRAID M5110, M5110e and the slightly older M5015 that I have several of my servers is not able to expand a disk array (from like 4 disks to 6 disks) although advertising materials for the controllers says they should do the trick.
I use 9½ hours of my Sunday to be so much wiser, But I save lots of time, money and hassle, the days after at work by having tests it at home.
