Live from Tanzania: The Global Water Crisis

In conjunction with World Water Day, classrooms will learn about the global water crisis, live from Tanzania. Students will connect to their Tanzanian peers impacted by the water crisis, learn how others are responding and get inspired to take action through the Students Rebuild Water Challenge. The #srwaterchallenge   will bring clean, safe drinking water to those who need it most. Here's how: By May 16, 2014, make and mail in paper beads to Students Rebuild. Every 20 handmade beads will provide access to clean water for one person. This school year, your handmade beads can provide more than 16,000 people with clean water in Tanzania because the Bezos Family Foundation will match your beads with funding for 41 water projects that serve schools and communities. This webcast will feature youth participants from the US and Tanzania, and the dynamic staff from charity: water and Concern Worldwide Tanzania.
